Stakeholders
DAO Contributors
Members: Community members stake DEUS tokens to earn governance rights, enabling them to actively participate in decision-making and shape the DAO’s future. The amount of influence depends on both the amount of staked tokens, and the time those tokens have been staked.
Northstar Council: A unit of up to six DAO delegates responsible for supervising the DAO’s direction and long-term strategy to ensure it is aligned with the missions and constitution adopted by the DAO.
Scoring Committee: A panel of industry experts, including leaders from the venture capital, robotics, and decentralized technology sectors, evaluates proposals, drafts memos, advises on developments, and offers strategic recommendations. By doing so, the committee ensures the DAO is well-informed when voting to allocate resources, ultimately helping shape promising concepts into tangible, impactful outcomes.
Execution Engine: The Execution Engine constitutes one or set of operational units engaged by the DAO to manage and execute its key initiatives. The Execution Engine is entrusted with a designated budget and operates autonomously within its mandate to ensure agility and responsiveness to the DAO’s evolving priorities. Over time, the Execution Engine is expected to decentralize further, with responsibilities gradually transitioning to the broader community and automated systems as the DAO matures. DAO members with relevant expertise are encouraged to participate in the Execution Engine, contributing to its mission of driving the machine economy and advancing Physical AI initiatives.
Deus Labs: XMAQUINA’s in-house innovation hub for advancing open-source robotics, ethical AI, and decentralized technologies. Open to contributions from all DAO members, Deus Labs brings together technologists, researchers, and builders to collaborate on transformative projects, ensuring the DAO remains a hub for innovation and progress.
The Execution Engine
Within the delegated scope, limits, and under the supervision by the DAO, the executing engine is responsible for a number of tasks within the XMAQUINA DAO.
Deal Sourcing: Identifying and evaluating high-potential opportunities in robotics, DePIN, and related sectors. This involves conducting in-depth market research and sourcing investments that align with the DAO’s mission and strategic goals.
Legal: Ensuring all operations adhere to applicable laws, regulations, and tax requirements, safeguarding the DAO’s integrity.
Tokenomics & Incentives: Refining the DEUS token’s economic framework, including creating mechanisms to incentivize meaningful contributions and support long-term sustainability.
Governance: Supporting the evolution of governance processes by promoting transparency, fairness, and proposing updates for community voting as the DAO grows.
Comms & Ops: Managing day-to-day operations, coordinating workflows, driving awareness, and overseeing communication and marketing efforts to grow and engage XMAQUINA’s community while enhancing the DAO’s visibility and impact.
Treasury & DeFi: Developing strategies to manage volatile assets, proposing DeFi strategies for treasury growth, and ensuring transparency in financial reporting to the DAO.
The DEUS Labs
The Deus labs serves as XMAQUINA’s innovation hub, dedicated to driving advancements in open-source robotics, ethical AI, and decentralized technologies. A key area of interest is developing technologies and DePIN protocols that enable the collection of critical data for humanoid and service robots, laying the groundwork for their advanced capabilities and real-world applications.
Led by professionals and domain experts, Deus Labs invites all DAO members to apply their skills and contribute to shaping its projects. The hub collaborates with research institutions and universities to drive cutting-edge R&D, turning promising concepts into viable products. Regular updates keep the community engaged, incorporating feedback throughout the development process.
When R&D efforts yield viable findings or MVPs, the lab can submit funding proposals to the DAO for further development. These initiatives have the potential to evolve into spin-offs or new ventures, with the DAO retaining a significant stake.
