πΌProtocol Architecture
The Framework and Structure of the XMAQUINA Network.
High-Level Architecture
Entities Involved in the XMAQUINA Ecosystem
Machine Investors (Users): These investors purchase machine tokens through the XMAQUINA protocol, which are issued by the operators. These tokens provide a proportional claim on the revenue generated by the fleet of machines but do not represent ownership of the machines themselves. The purchase process involves standard blockchain transactions, ensuring security and transparency. Machine investors, or users, form the demand side of the XMAQUINA network, seeking passive income from the machine operations.
Machine Operators (Businesses): These are usually traditional registered businesses already in operation that are onboarded to the XMAQUINA platform. They are responsible for operating the fleet of autonomous machines within the network. Their primary duties include ensuring the machines run efficiently, performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimizing performance to generate revenue. Machine operators form the supply side of the XMAQUINA network, contributing to the profitability of the ecosystem.
Machine Network (Protocol): The infrastructure is composed of two layers: a Web Layer and a Blockchain Layer. The Web Layer, initially operated by the XM Robotics team, is responsible for compliance, onboarding machine operators, and managing and scaling the network until it is self-sustainable. The Blockchain Layer is decentralized, with smart contracts deployed and managed by the XMAQUINA Foundation and DAO. Governance will be community-driven, with XMAQUINA token holders controlling foundational operations and the development roadmap through proposals and voting, ensuring the protocol reduces reliance on centralized entities, and fosters a democratic and fair ecosystem for all participants.
The Respective Responsibilities of Each Entities
Machine Operators:
Operational Efficiency: Ensure that their machines are operating properly and efficiently.
Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting to keep machines in optimal condition.
Revenue Management: Ensure that the earnings generated by the machines are in line with their forecasts.
Business Integrity: Maintain good standing in business operations and ensure timely distribution of revenue to investors.
Machine Investors:
Funding: Provide the necessary funds for the operation of machines through the purchase of machine tokens.
Compliance: Adhere to investment rules in their respective countries and update the platform if there is a material change in their investment status.
Verification: Complete and maintain compliance with Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) processes. This includes regular updates to their status if necessary (e.g., change in citizenship).
Machine Network:
Offer Curation: Curate and vet the offers available on the platform to ensure quality and reliability.
User Vetting: Implement robust KYC and AML processes to prevent fraud and ensure regulatory compliance.
Business Verification: Conduct Know Your Business (KYB) processes for machine operators and potentially financial audits if investments do not perform as expected.
Smart Contracts:
Automation: Deploy smart contracts on the PEAQ blockchain to automate the distribution of revenue to token holders.
Terms and Conditions: Define the terms and conditions of the revenue share within the smart contracts.
Transparency: Ensure accurate and transparent payouts to investors through automated processes.
By clearly defining the responsibilities of each entity within the Machine Network Protocol, we ensure a transparent, efficient, and decentralized ecosystem that empowers all participants to contribute to and benefit from the network's growth and success.
